Trials Events
| The Club organises 4 Trials annually - Dick Little British Bike Trial, Gordon Jackson Trial, The Greybeards and The Southern Experts. In the ACU South Eastern Centre most Trials are run under Centre Permits and only 4 under National Permits. The Sunbeam Club is unique in that 2 of our events are run under National Permits. The Sunbeam Club was a founder member of the Star Group, a collection of currently 11 Clubs in the western portion of the ACU South East Centre, and our riders can also compete in the annual Star Group Championship. Sunbeam won The Star Group Award for the club accruing the most points in the series in the years 1950 to 1956 (seven in a row) plus 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998, 1999 and 2000. The Star Group exemplifies keen rivalry between the competing clubs, carried out in a fair and friendly manner with a truly sporting attitude. | |

We have an Associated Membership System with the Bexleyheath and District MCC giving us access to the North Kent Wobbler Series of Trials for beginners and those seeking an easy competitive ride. We also can access Bexleyheath's extensive series of Club Trials for beginners through to out and out Experts. Plus the opportunity to ride in the Bexleyheath's monthly series of day long Green lane Outings. |
